As I watched the Saddleback Forum on Saturaday; I was personally offended by Barak Obama’s statement regarding Justice Thomas. And I quote “I would not have nominated Clarence Thomas. I don’t think that he, I don’t think that he was a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time for that elevation. Setting aside the fact that I profoundly disagree with his interpretation of a lot of the Constitution.” What an elitist liberal statement. This goes to his whole idealogy regarding the importance of the Supreme Court and it’s Justices.
He basically says Justice Thomas is not smart enough to on the court. Yet, if you look at Clarence Thomas’ history and creditentials they far outweigh Obama’s on most everything.

Clarence Thomas is a strict constitutionalist and this is what drives liberals crazy.
They want to constitution to be re-written to fit into their mindset of what is the flavor of the day. Whether it be abortion, same-sex marriage, fairness doctrine, property rights, etc.
As a black conservative I am distressed that any thinking person believes that Barak Obama is right for this country!
There is not a justice on any court that I respect more than Clarence Thomas. His appointment to the supreme court will be the enduring legacy of Bush Sr. to this country. I can’t express how much I appreciate his strict constitutionalist stances on issues.
