I just read an Washington Post Article titled: Candidate Banners Can Leave Clients, Businesses Bruised
At first I was extremely angry at the tone and intolerance of my fellow Prince George’s County Residents. Then the moderation of God and love settled upon my heart. It is with deep sadness and concern, that I write this post [...]

After watching both the Democratic and Republican Conventions; I came away with a uneasy feeling of what is ahead. The CNN, MSNBC, etc. talking heads where incredible in their open bias. I was also amused that one of the first comments made was “The speech was written for her”. I heard this comment on 3 stations. [...]

On Saturaday August 16th, Barak Obama and John McCain will visit Saddleback Church for a Civil Forum Debate with Rick Warren.
I can’t help but wonder what is going on. As a Black Conservative this is incredible to me. A few years back all we heard about was separation of church and state. Churches need to [...]

Being a Black Conservative woman in today’s world is a tough sell.
Sure, Black Conservatives and Black Republicans have been in this country since the Civil War.
Why then is being a Black Conservative a dirty word in the African American world?
What has happened to the black community that we condemn, blast and hate anyone who claims [...]

Where oh where are the congressional hearings? With the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; I am now waiting for the hearings to begin. The congressional Democrats are once again blaming this on George Bush and John McCain, as if the Hill has no accountability at all in this huge failure by a quasi-government [...]

This is such great news! I say WOW! The chance for a Vice-President to be a woman and a Conservative.
Glass Ceiling, what glass ceiling? This just goes to show that the Republican party is really the party of change. Just think about this: Sarah Palin could be the first woman Vice-President, and if McCain doesn’t [...]

I just can’t beleive it! Liberals calling Liberals ‘Uncle Tom“
I just read an article where a Clinton supporter accused a Obama supporter of calling her that dreaded phrase “Uncle Tom’
This phrase is usually reserved for us black conservative types, It seems as if these days if you stray off the plantation, even if you are [...]

I can’t tell you how happy I am to now hear the news the the RNC is stating that within the last 36 hours John McCain is reconsidering his VP Nominee. News came out last week that he was considering Gov. Ridge(pro-choice). My question is was John McCain just throwing something out there to see [...]

As I watched the Saddleback Forum on Saturaday; I was personally offended by Barak Obama’s statement regarding Justice Thomas. And I quote “I would not have nominated Clarence Thomas. I don’t think that he, I don’t think that he was a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time for that elevation. Setting aside [...]
